Rukungiri Orphan Partnership

was set up to assist Alice and John Tumusiime with their vision of helping orphan children in their locality to get an education. They started to build a school in 1992 and friends of theirs in the UK began a fund to help with this work.

 

Gradually more people began to sponsor children in the school and we became a registered charity in February 2007 in order to join the gift aid scheme.

 

Several churches and groups, as well as individuals, either sponsor children or do fund raising events in order to help educate these youngsters.
