The Rukungiri Orphan Partnership…
is a Christian organisation set up to help Alice and John Tumusiime with their vision of providing for orphan and needy children in the Rukungiri district of southern Uganda. Alice and John founded Rukungiri Modern Primary School so that these children can get an education, which in turn will help them to improve their opportunities for the future.

Child Sponsorship
To become a sponsor please download and complete the sponsorship and gift aid form!
There are currently around 347 children at Rukungiri Modern Primary and Nursery Schools who need sponsorship. Each with a unique background—some are double orphans (having lost both parents), others have lost one parent, and many come from families living in extreme poverty.
Your sponsorship makes a meaningful difference, your £25.00 per month you contribute covers:
- School fees
- Accommodation and meals (for both boarders and day pupils)
- School uniform
- Essential school supplies such as pens, pencils, and exercise books
- Personal items like soap and toilet paper
You will also receive letters from your sponsored child throughout the year, offering a personal connection and updates on their progress.
